Located on the ground floor of the Hospital São Lucas, we have exclusive access from the diagnostic center, we provide graphic and image services carried out in a comfortable and safe environment for cardiologists and specialists, nurses, nursing technicians, Ergometry and electrocardiography technicians.     The echocardiography service is headed by Professor Dr. Flavio José Petersen Old, a pioneering doctor in the Echocardiography in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, being one of the centers of higher volume of exams in the city of Porto Alegre, conducting approximately 8,500 studies annually . The laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art image systems, with the latest technological advances, including three-dimensional echocardiogram in real-time, endocavitary contrast and strain. They integrate the experienced ecocardiographic medical service titled and with recognized professional performance. In addition, 33 years ago exerts educational activity forming new echocardiographers, but also collaborates with various research projects at the Hospital São Lucas da PUCRS and in masters and doctoral projects developed in the institution.
