Since 1981, the Ultrasonography Service of the Hospital São Lucas da PUCRS conducts all Ultrasonography exams with and without Doppler in the specialties of Cardiology, Gynecology and Obstetrics and Ultrasound General, in addition to ultrasound-oriented biopsy procedures.

Preparation

For transesophageal and pharmacological stress echocardiogram exams, the patient needs 6h of full fasting and accompanied to carry out the examination. See more information on the preparation for these and other exams at the time of scheduling.

      • lower limbs and higher arterial and venous
      • Small parts (superficial organs as scrotal, cervical, parotid and thyroid bag) with and without Doppler ultrasound to guide liver biopsies, prostate and kidneys
